A bit about me...
I’m fortunate that my passion is my work, and my work is my passion. I have been studying the fear response my whole life and have been helping other's to understand their own fear responses as a practicing psychotherapist for nearly 25 years.
I received my Clinical training at The Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in the 1990s. My graduate degree is from the University of Maryland-Baltimore and my undergraduate is from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I am also longtime yoga practitioner. I understand the connectedness of body, mind, and spirit. I am a certified Kripalu yoga instructor and occasionally teach classes. I also currently teach Graduate courses at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in The School of Social Work.
In my experience, fear is the biggest barrier to growth and well-being. It has become my life's work to assist others in understanding their fear responses and overcoming them so they can live with more integration, connection, confidence, love and Joy. We treat ourselves and each other better when we are less afraid.
